Fall landscape workshop: Terri Ford Landscapes in Pastel October 8th, 9th, and 10th, 2010

Come work with Terri Ford and experience the orderly rows of pristine farmlands and hills that inspired Grant Wood's landscapes and the birthplace of Regionalist art. This will be a unique opportunity to work with a master pastel artist in an equally unique location. Space is limited, so register today!
Terri
Ford, a native Calfornian, has traveled extensively throughout Europe
and Mexico. Her pastel paintings include landscapes, portraits, the
splendors of Paris, the backroads of France, and Italy...Cortona,
Tuscany, Florence, and Venice. Although a studio artist for many years,
she now focuses on painting en plein air.
"My pastel paintings are rendered in representational and impressionistic style. Not meant to be clever or symbolic, my work is a personal and human response to the subject. Whether loose or tightly rendered I strive to convey an honest and compassionate portrayal of all that I paint. My interest lies in creating paintings that reflect the extraordinary character within the ordinary."
Terri's memberships include: IAPS Masters Circle Pastel Society of America - Signature Member Pastel Society of the West Coast - Distinguished Pastelist Pastel Society of New Mexico - Signature Member Sierra Pastel Society - Signature Member
“Terri's
work reflects her keen sense of observation. Light and shadows weaving
across a tapestry of textures and vibrant colors are a trademark of
this outstanding artist."
